bad packaging

Picked up a few flat cables by LaCie. A bit colorful and stands out from the typical black cabling that dominates my external devices. Can't stand difficult to open blister packaging. Had to break out the scissors. Didn't know they provided stickers that you can use to label the cables.. ended up cutting through some of them. Well.. wasn't going to use the labels anyway.

Now that's alot of tax records...

Roxio Toast is a decent dvd/cd burn program but I find their email 'upgrade' notices/offers a bit frequent. Didn't get to the point of attempting to opting out... yet.

The recent email to get Toast to back up your tax records I find a bit over the top.
